The Bible teaches, and we believe…
1. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV)
Why are most people not experiencing God’s love and living a fulfilled life?
2. Because people are sinners, and sin has separated them from God.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Sin is missing the mark of perfection; a falling short of God’s plan for your life, and results in spiritual death.
“For the wages of sin is death…” (separation from God—in Hell) Romans 6:23
3. The best efforts of a person cannot repair the damage caused by sin.
People have attempted to bridge the gulf which separates them from God by doing good works. The Bible teaches…
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things (good deeds) we had done, but because of His mercy.” Titus 3:4-5 (NIV)
How can a sinful person have fellowship with a Holy God?
4. God solved this problem in the Person of His Son. Jesus Christ is God’s remedy for sin.
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God….” 1 Peter 3:18
When Jesus died upon the Roman cross He paid the full penalty for our sins and purchased a place in heaven for us which He offers as a free gift.
5. You must, by faith, personally receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:12
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9
Here is the promise of God’s Word to all who believe.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)
You can become a Christian right now by inviting Jesus Christ to become your Savior and Lord.
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. I now repent of my sins and place my faith and trust in You alone for my salvation. I ask You to come into my life, take control, and forgive my sins. I accept the free gift of eternal life.
If this prayer is the sincere desire of your heart, look at what Jesus promises to those who believe in Him: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has eternal life.” John 6:47
